ZipRecruiter is an online marketplace for jobs where employers or hiring managers can post their available jobs and job seekers can apply to these jobs. ZipRecruiter acts like a match-making machine that brings jobs and people together.
With the aid of its AI-driven system, ZipRecruiter posts job listings to hundreds of different job boards. The same system helps employers find their best candidates, invite them for interviews, and ultimately, hire their next employees.
According to its website, ZipRecruiter has helped almost 2 million businesses of all sizes find the right candidates. The company also claims to help employers attain an 80 percent match on candidates on the very first day of their job posting.
Employers and hiring managers come to ZipRecruiter to find and recruit new hires. ZipRecruiter offers a free platform for people to find their next best job opportunities.
From a job seeker’s point of view, this system is very beneficial because you can filter jobs according to industry, location, and experience level. ZipRecruiter helps you weed through thousands of jobs and filter those that you are interested in or for which you are a good match.
How does ZipRecruiter work for job seekers?
ZipRecruiter is a massive job board where people looking for jobs can explore various ZipRecruiter careers.
As a job seeker, you can use the site to find and apply for jobs free of charge. For me this is a huge plus because I know other job boards that charge you for the same service.

Is ZipRecruiter Legit?
Like most people, you’re also probably asking yourself this question: Is ZipRecruiter legit?
And it’s right to ask. Thankfully, when I dug deeper into ZipRecruiter on the web, I can say that it is indeed legit.
According to ZipRecruiter’s BBB profile, the company has been accredited for the last ten years. It has an A+ rating, which is the highest score in BBB’s rating system. However, I found that it had only 1 out of 5 stars in customer ratings.
But all in all, ZipRecruiter is a solid job listing service company, duly registered in the USA. It is headquartered in Santa Monica, California, with over a thousand employees. Its current CEO is Ian Siegel.

ZipRecruiter Reviews: What Do People Have to Say About ZipRecruiter?
To make this review even more comprehensive, I also looked around a couple of real ZipRecruiter reviews from all over the internet.
On the Consumer Affairs website, ZipRecruiter generally received good feedback from users.
“I receive a great variety of jobs to my email. I can set the search to specific keywords I choose. You can also choose the mile radius from home you prefer to work in.”
Pam of Oklahoma City.
“Very accurate descriptions of the jobs they post. The site makes it easy to upload your resumes, & data. The site is easy to navigate to use its features. A good site to find a good job.”
Earl of California.
I also looked around for ZipRecruiter reviews in the Reddit community and found that there are some Reddit members who have used ZipRecruiter’s services as well.
This poster is happy to have used ZipRecruiter to look for jobs, saying “I’m averaging a cool 8-10 emails per day from “Phil”, who’s constantly sending me jobs that match my skill set. I mostly have a customer service/call center/client services/sales support type of skillset in my current line of work. A lot of the opportunities I get match that description.”
Meanwhile, some Reddit members are quite wary about ZipRecruiter. A poster named jacolmomlost said two fraudulent companies approached him via the platform.
ZipRecruiter Review: Can You Really Find Work on ZipRecruiter?
Overall, I believe that sites like ZipRecruiter are very handy for today’s job hunters. For one, ZipRecruiter allows you to find jobs that match your skillset and credentials, thanks to its smart AI system.
You can look for and apply for a job from home. Everything happens on the ZipRecruiter app or site. With that alone, ZipRecruiter saves you a lot of time and effort as compared to manually looking for jobs. And you get to enjoy these ZipRecruiter benefits free of charge.
ZipRecruiter is a legit platform, but since it’s a marketplace for jobs, it is important to note that it does not guarantee that all jobs you’d find there are legit as well. You should be wary of scam jobs which also exist on other platforms
I know it’s not always easy to find a great job. Even hiring managers and employers find it tough to find the best candidate for their job openings. But with ZipRecruiter and similar services, the match-making process just seems quicker and easier.
