Now, let me say it again, Literaby is an app or tool. It is amazing in a way that it helps teachers reduce the time spent on manually assessing each student’s reading performance. What I like about Literably:
- Literably is open for beginners.
- It is open worldwide. Although you cannot apply if you live in states mentioned in the requirements section, Literably accepts applicants from all over the world.
- Work is easy and straightforward. Literably even gives you training to help you improve in your job.
- You can work on your own time. Literably does not impose a strict work schedule.
What I don’t like about Literably:
- Job is not always guaranteed. Work may be leaner during summers and holidays as students are on breaks from school.
Is Literably a scam?
When you’re looking for homebased or online work, one of the top questions you ask yourself is whether it is scam or not. In this case, you might wonder: is Literably legit? Or is just another scam?
Based on my research, a lot of people can vouch that Literably is real app and that it truly hires and pays transcribers. Additionally, numerous teachers use the Literably app to help wiith the assesment of their students’ reading skills. However, the reviewer has complaints over the consistency of the “scoring system,” saying it’s hard to pin the right scores all the time. I’ve also found this thread on Reddit wherein a poster shared his or her Literably transcriptionist reviews. The poster’s main complaint was that the child did not speak clearly enough, was not speaking in English or was just probably making up words. This makes a transcriber and scorer’s job even tougher!
