According to the Sigtrack website:

“Sigtrack is a database application that links grassroots campaigns with crowdsourced data entry freelancers.”

Sigtrack is a data processing company that handles data entry work and distributes it to its network of independent contractors. Most of Sigtrack’s campaigns include checking petition signatures and voter registration forms.

What does it take to get Sigtrack data entry jobs?

Sigtrack Review: Is Sigtrack Legit?

Getting into Sigtrack is fairly easy. You don’t need to have any specific degree or training, and previous experience is not necessary. You don’t even need to be a fast typist. These make Sigtrack one of the easiest companies to penetrate, especially if you’re looking for easy data entry jobs that have low-entry barriers.

Here’s an overview of the requirements and application process when applying for Sigtrack.

Sigtrack Review : Application Process

The good thing about applying at Sigtrack is that the entire process is quick and easy. First, take out your government issued ID and driver’s license next to your face and film a three-second video. Make sure to focus clearly on the text in the ID so that Sigtrack can verify it. Email the short clip to Sigtrack.

Sigtrack will get in touch with you and set you up for a Skype call. Sigtrack will create your account and then you can start working.

There’s a short learning curve while you’re just getting started, but don’t worry, Sigtrack has forums and tutorials to guide you.

Requirements

To work for Sigtrack, you must:

  • Have a PayPal account to process your payment
  • Be a US resident (but does not reside in California or Massachusetts)
  • Have a dual-monitor set-up. This is not required but the company prefers this to single-monitor set-up so you can be more productive at work
  • Own a good-running computer with the latest operating systems (Windows 7,9 or 10 or higher, or Mac 10.13 or higher)
  • You have a stable internet connection, running at 20mbps

How much does Sigtrack Pay?

So, a lot has been said about Sigtrack being easy to get into. The job is easy and you don’t have to be an expert typist to start earning money.

But the question remains: how much does Sigtrack pay?

I’ve found a couple of Sigtrack reviews that say you can earn up to $20 per hour working as data entry contractor on Sigtrack. Now, that sounds really promising.

According to the Sigtrack website, you will get paid according to matching tags. If you work pretty fast, you can make more money. But then again, your work goes through peer review wherein reviewers determine whether your data has errors. Remember, Sigtrack penalizes you for errors, and if you have a lot of them, you’ll also lose some of your earning potential.

What makes Sigtrack data entry jobs stand out?

Home-based data entry jobs with Sigtrack

I know, many of us think that data entry jobs are some of the easiest home-based jobs out there. For some people, it is monotonous and repetitive, but ones you establish a system, you can be more efficient in your job.

A lot of people are drawn to Sigtrack data entry jobs because of the following reasons:

1. It is a pure data entry job.

If you hate talking on the phone or having a supervisor breathing down your neck as you work, then this job is suitable for you.

2. It is extremely flexible.

As a data entry clerk at Sigtrack, you can set your own hours. You can work in the dead of the night while the kids are asleep, or in the middle of the day while the kids are in school. You can log and work whenever it is convenient for you.

3. Easy data entry work.

Your work will mostly consist of processing and verifying voter information across different states. You don’t even have to deal with complicated formulas or sheets upon sheets of excel file.

4. Sigtrack is legit.

While there are lots of advertised data entry jobs out there that may or may not turn out to be scams, Sigtrack promises legitimacy. Payments are processed electronically, so Sigtrack contractors will always get paid promptly.

What’s to hate about Sigtrack?

Unfortunately, Sigtrack is not perfect. Here are some drawbacks when working with Sigtrack:

1. Seasonal work.

Your busiest months would be the elections season. But before and after, there might be little to nothing to work at on Sigtrack.

2. Payment deductions for errors.

Sigtrack wants their workers to be both fast and accurate, and if you’re looking in one or both aspects, you won’t earn much from Sigtrack. The company deducts a portion from your payment for inaccuracies. You have to make sure that you input the correct data to keep your income.

It doesn’t pay much.

Given that you’ll only be busy for a couple of months and you get deductions for errors, Sigtrack couldn’t guarantee a healthy paycheck. You can’t rely on it to sustain your lifestyle, but it might buy some of your needs or pay some of your bills.

Is Sigtrack Legit?

When it comes to work-from-home data entry jobs, it always pays to be cautious. And while I was doing my research on Sigtrack data entry reviews, I would see this question a lot: is Sigtrack legit?

If you’re wondering the same thing, I can say that Sigtrack is indeed 100% legit. It is a real company that hires real workers. It even pays on time.

However, it’s worth noting that Sigtrack is currently not accredited with the Better Business Bureau.

Sigtrack Review: Should You Give Sigtrack A Shot?

Given that Sigtrack is a legit company, I would say give it a go if you want to get your feet wet with data entry work. The application process is a breeze and the requirements are easy to meet.

However, you have to remember that data entry can be boring and repetitive, so if you hate doing the same thing over and over again, this job might not be for you. On the other hand, some people thrive in their routine, so doing data entry is easy for them.

Sigtrack may be worth your while if you’re only looking for supplemental income. Sigtrack will not make you rich, but it can help pad your savings over time.

That being said, if you prefer more challenging jobs, have more room for growth and you are seeking better earning potential, I’d say keep looking, because Sigtrack may not be the answer. I recommend exploring the following posts on my site to get more ideas on online jobs that pay well!
